Detailed description is 25 years old, fitness freak, making music during spare time..Started making music when I was 15 or so, but have had the interest a lot longer, with no real influences in the family.
It started when I asked my father to get me a program called Magix Music Maker.
It was my first program, I had fun with it for a year or so, but the program was very limited, which I didn't realize at first, I blamed myself for not making anything worth listening to.
A friend of mine got me Fruity Loops Studio 7 then, I had heard and read about it, I knew it was good, but it was frightening.
Should I start on a new, really advanced program when I have a simpler I know inside out? The transfer was slow, but I got more and more irritated by the budget software I had, if I wanted to get anywhere I had to advance to the better equipment..
It took forever to learn how to do the easiest things.
But it still sounded better than the old program, no matter how much I would have worked on it, so I knew that this was the way to continue.
Because of school and that the program was so advanced and hard to learn, I didn't spend as much time making music as I wanted.
Another reason, probably the main reason, was that we had only one computer to share between three kids.
That left us all with less time than we wanted.
I loved making music, but I also needed other things to do.
I enjoyed playing some games too, and then that collided with the miusic..
When I had gotten my first job, I started saving money, after 2 months I bought my first own computer.
The feeling was amazing, like all christmases together, this meant that I could do music when I wanted, no need to adapt to other people.
It was a pretty good computer, Dell Studio 17, 4 GB RAM, 2,26 intel Core 2 Duo processors.
This was 7th of January, 2009..
I made a lot of music after work, but it gets tiresome when no one gives a damn about what you do.
When I felt that I had accomplished something really good, I made my family listen.
They were too impressed.
Well, so at first at least.
But when I thought back, when I started making music, their words were different.
They went from 'Total crap, this ain't music' to 'this didn't totally suck, I liked that part' to 'you're getting better' to now when they have said 'did you make this?'.
So, unintentionally, they have actually been a small inspiration.
Especially my mum, she has always listen..
At first all she said when I played a song was 'cool'-.
But that's not what I wanted to hear, I wanted 'good'..
And that I have gotten now..
Of all the people I know, my sister is the hardest to impress, so my goal is to make a song that she would voluntarily listen to.
In may 2010, I bought my second computer, this one was not a laptop, a desktop.
Very powerful.
Dell Insipron, 6 GB RAM, 3,05 intel Core i3, 4 cores.
I love this computer.
After a week or so I bought a new screen, 24" full HD, very nice.
A month after that I bought my new loudspeakers, Logitech Z-5500, 5.1 surround, 505-1010 watt..
Now I am fully equipped..
I have worked as a pizzamaker for 2 years soon.
Not the profession of my dreams, but I am good at it, and I enjoy doing something I can do well.
I can't make music and not get any money for living.
Hopefully my music can keep me afloat some day..
