Divergent Goalkeeping Academy is a training program that specializes in goalkeeper training Divergent Goalkeeping Academy (DGA) is an academy where goalkeepers can come and go as they want with a limited financial commitment.
Throughout the year the DGA will offer weekly training sessions (per season, i.e.: fall, winter, spring, summer) as well as camps that will last the span of 2-4 days at a time.
DGA will take a methodical developmental approach to goalkeeper training to ensure that goalkeepers are training at an age appropriate level.

• Erudite Training (U8-U13) – Erudite means “the intelligent”.
DGA believes that when a young goalkeeper makes the choice to be a goalkeeper that they are making an intelligent decision.

• Dauntless Training (U14-U19) – Dauntless means “showing fearlessness or determination” which is exactly what is needed at the goalkeeping position.
Given the increase in level, the stress and psychological demands of the position will increase as well - mistakes are glorified and solid performances are overlooked to the naked eye.
To be an effective goalkeeper at the NEXT LEVEL the goalkeeper will have to be brave and fearless, and at times “crazy” to some.
If he/she stays with this program he/she will graduate from the Dauntless training program and continue on to the “Divergent” training program that will be created for the NEXT LEVEL goalkeeper..

• Divergent Training (U19+) - Divergent means “tending to be different or develop in different directions”.
Goalkeepers at the NEXT LEVEL are considered to be divergent as they do not fall into either faction of an Erudite or Dauntless anymore; they are Divergent – they have chosen to develop in a different direction or manner than the rest of the soccer population.
This program will be focused on psychologically breaking down the goalkeeper and placing them under intense training conditions with high expectations.
