Detailed description is Explorations Unlimited offers technical SCUBA diving training including cave diving, O2ptima FX Closed Circuit Rebreather and mixed gas (Trimix) diving.
Located in North Florida cave country, we offer guided cave dives at Hart, Indian and Diepolder.
The concepts I teach my students, come from the knowledge that I have gained from years of working with many excellent instructors and agencies.
I have trained with GUE, IANTD, NACD, NAUI, NSS-CDS, and TDI instructors; and from this broad spectrum I have culled out the best ideas and principles and applied them to my courses..

My cave diving / technical diving teaching philosophy is based on three principles:.

First, the training must be thorough.
Students will leave my class possessing the skills and knowledge to complete a safe, technical dive at a high-level of competency.
No corners will be cut and the certification will be earned..
.
Second, the training environment should be relaxed, enjoyable and fun.
It is amazing that people spend so much time, money and effort to get certified and don't enjoy the process.
At the technical level, students should be able to self-critique and discuss successes and short comings.
I do not act as a drill instructor, but more as a guide that will lead you through the learning process.

Third, at the end of the course students should be self-sufficient and able to think for themselves.
Beyond the training curriculum, each diver needs to understand the fundamental reasons why they are diving a certain gear configuration or using a specific gas and not simply going through the motions because of course curriculum.
Cave diving / technical diving are dynamic and divers need to be able to change and adapt to that dynamic environment.
