I'm Laura Beth Bailey, the photographer, artist and owner of Design 460.
This is my family and best set of cheerleaders I could ask for.
It was a big step leaving my twenty-four year career as an educator.
These people never blinked.
From September of 2015 through September 2016 my photography business was closed.
Our eldest daughter shown on the far right was dangerously in need of a liver transplant.
She and I lived in Houston, mostly at the hospital, and the rest of our family traveled to us on weekends.
Those weekends were bright spots in all of our lives.
On November 2, 2015, she received her new liver and we are forever grateful to the gracious and strong family that made the donation.
I pray one day we can meet them and thank them in person.
We have always been supporters of organ donation, but now that we have experienced the need for healthy organs for transplantation first hand, we are even more solidified.

I no longer book weddings, but thoroughly enjoy engagement and bridal sessions.
I am offering something new along these lines.
They will be sessions for couples in their formal wedding attire either before the big day or after the honeymoon.
My goal is to alleviate some of the exciting but chaotic rushes of the wedding day.
Consider these sessions to be like bridals except for couples.
Let me know if you'd like to book! You'll still have the photos the photographer takes of your actual wedding day.
These will be a great way to create controlled, formal portraits for framing or canvas in addition to them.
