Every year hundreds of DePauw students chose to participate in at least one of the many student-led volunteer programs that make up DePauw Community Service (DCS).This corps of volunteers provides needed assistance to schools, shelters, retirement communities, governmental agencies, museums, and other non-profit organizations, agencies, and programs throughout Putnam County.

FIRST-YEAR SERVICE PLUNGE.

This is an annual opportunity for incoming DePauw students to join their classmates and the Greencastle community in a day of service and learning.
Offered in conjunction with the Putnam County United Way Day of Caring, this popular event aims to connect service-oriented student with local agencies, programs and organizations.
Service Plunge happens the first Saturday after the opening of academic year classes.
Sign up opens in August 2012.
