प्रदेश सरकार भी ग्रामीण जनकल्याण कार्यक्रमों के क्रियान्वयन में पीछे नहीं है। राज्य सरकार द्वारा की गयी अभिनवी पहल के अन्तर्गत ग्रामीण आवास के क्षेत्र में दीनदयाल उत्तराखण्ड ग्रामीण आवास योजना राज्य वित्तीय संसाधनों से क्रियान्वित की जा रही है। 12वीं पंचवर्षीय योजनाकाल तक सभी निर्धन आवासविहीनों को आवासीय सुविधा, हर बेरोजगार को स्थानीय रोजगार तथा प्रत्येक परिवार को स्वरोजगार से जोड़कर स्वावलम्बी बनाये जाने हेतु राज्य सरकार संकल्पबद्ध है। .
