Detailed description is Denton Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church located in Denton, Georgia dedicated to sharing the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ through God's Word Denton Baptist Church began in 1905 when it was first organized and dedicated to God.
The event took place in a small schoolroom known as Brooker Denton School located about 2 miles North of Denton.

On Dec 3, 1910, the Church moved to Denton, GA and it was during that time the Church was constituted and the Church became a part of the Smyrna Baptist Association.
The first Church building was completed in 1911.
In the Spring of 1925, the Church building was heavily damaged by strong winds so the congregation raised the funds to build a new Church building which was completed in 1927.
That building lasted for many years until the current building was built in 1956.
Since then the Church has done a lot of remodeling and built a new spacious fellowship social hall where many delicious dinners are served regularly as well as Church events..
