The program provides upper-level undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates with the opportunity to participate in mission-critical projects and support DCPS’ mission to be the first urban school district to close the achievement gap.
UELIPs come from top-tier universities (check out past UELIPS) to be part of the most innovative district in the country and to gain real world experience in the education sector.
UELIP Associates also participate in a variety of cohort activities designed to expose them to key issues in education reform, develop them professionally, and expand their professional networks..
