Hello, My name is Dawn.
Creating soap started out as a hobby, initially using melt and pour.
I quickly fell in love with the process and decided to venture into cold-process soap making.
Family and friends seemed to enjoy my products, therefore I've decided to offer them for sale.
I hope you enjoy my handmade products as much as I enjoy making them.
I find the soap-making process to be very relaxing and I'm constantly researching new techniques and new soaps/fragrances to create.
I've gone through several recipes and have finally formulated my own base recipe which I've found to be wonderfully cleansing as well as moisturizing and conditioning for the skin.
My husband, Kevin, has been very supportive of my hobby and has helped tremendously with moral support, building box molds and even my own custom-made curing rack for curing my soaps.
My daughter Abby is very helpful with cutting soaps, making bath bombs as well as helping package my products.

All of my soaps are made in small batches from scratch in my home, utilizing the cold-process method.
My soaps are made from the finest, high quality ingredients that consist of natural skin loving oils, butters, clays, milks, essentials oils, natural exfoliants, phthalate-free fragrance oils, mineral oxides, micas, and natural colorants.
I only use palm oil that is organic and sustainably grown in the US.
My base recipe contains the finest skin-loving oils, as well as cocoa butter, shea butter and tussah silk.
Each small batch generally yields approximately 16-18 bars of soap..

My body-butters are made with my own formulated recipe containing several skin-loving oils and butters such as coconut oil, cocoa butter, mango butter, shea butter, jojoba oil, argan oil and vitamin e.

My sea-salt scrubs are made using dead sea-salt as well as other natural ingredients.
I can make sugar scrubs by request, but research has shown the benefits of sea-salt to the skin is far greater..

Keep in mind that handmade soap requires a 4-6 week curing time and once ready for use it needs to dry out in between uses.
My handmade soaps should be kept in a drainable soap dish away from constant contact with moisture.
This will prevent it from melting quickly and help it to last much longer.
Also, my larger bars of soap can be cut in half and made into two bars which will also help them last longer..
