Detailed description is The Dallas Chinese Community Center (DCCC) serves both the Asian and the non-Asian Communities in the DFW area through a variety of events and activities.
緣起.

達拉斯華人活動中心成立於1985年4月，為北德州地區第一個亞裔人士組成的活動中心。當年由一批來自臺灣、香港等地的華人集資創立，後曾獲得臺灣僑務單位的補助，服務僑胞前後二十年。多年來在本地華人的努力下，中文書籍、電腦設備、中國歷代服裝、文物等陸續充實，而成為達拉斯，甚至北德州地區有關中華文化資源與人才最豐富的一個組織，也因此使中心成為服務華人，向主流社會宣揚中華文化的最佳組織與地點。.

自2001年起，本中心的經營轉交華人社區後，成為一個非政治、非宗教、非營利的機構。由熱心人士組成理事會，負責華人活動中心的日常營運與所需經費的籌募。.

目前，這個位於李察遜市中國城內的「華人活動中心」有大廳、圖書室（中文圖書及雜誌供會員借出）、會議室、及電腦教室等。平常除圖書室開放供民眾使用外，每週並開設電腦、功夫、中國書法、舞蹈、桌球、太極拳等教學活動。.
