What started as a small summer job quickly escalated into something much bigger.
By the time he reached his sophomore year of high school, he was hiring a chauffeur to get to jobs on Industrial Road that he had been subcontracted to do.
During this time he was able to manage and maintain 3 factories, 2 large businesses, and over 30 residential lawn accounts.
After graduating high school in 2006, he began interviewing for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for a job in a resident engineer's office.
While working for KYTC, he continued mowing for friends, family, and volunteering his time and service at the local fairgrounds/county park.
He was hired in 2007 and resigned in 2014 to pursue his original ambition.

On August 5, 2011, MJ married Heather Bowman.
Heather graduated from Gallatin County High School and continued her education at Northern Kentucky University.
She graduated in 2013 with an Elementary Education degree.
She has learned the ropes of the business through experience working alongside her husband.
