I am Deronda (the mother) and I love to play with fire.
From the first time I lit the torch and made my first glass bead from that rod of glass, I knew that I had found a way to express my creativity in a way I never dreamed possible.
Many, many beads later and that is still very much true.
And since metal goes so well with glass, it was a natural transition to add the metal and wire to the studio and it's been ever so much fun to see where it leads.
Silk, leather, feathers...it all has its place in the studio and you never know what you might see from me next.
