Detailed description is Crusaders of the Divine Chuch of Christ Phils.
The Crusader of the Divine of Church of Christ Philippines Incorporated (CDCCPI) was founded by Rufino Sarmiento Magliba in the Philippines.
It was there during the year of 1955 in San Fabian, Pangasinan that He began His teachings of God.
Over the years Rufino Sarmiento Magliba started to gain recognition for his spiritual level, thus given the title of Monsignor, which was followed by Dr, doctor.
Because of his talent of healing naturally, he was given the qualification of Doctor of Naturophathy Divine Healer.
It was then that people started calling Him Monsignor Doctor Rufino Sarmiento Magliba.
However, as He started having faithful followers, He obtained the nicknames Apo Rufing or Apo Lakay.
Apo Lakay was found by his adopted parents, Felipe Magliba and Petronila Sarmiento under a gardenia bush on Sunday January 25, 1922 in Asingan, Pangasinan.
They were busy tending their rice field until they surprisingly came upon this infant that was about four months old.
Under the municipality of Asingan they took in Apo Rufing and legally gave him the name of Rufino Magliba Sarmiento with a given birth date of September 25, 1921..

Apo Rufing was a great student in grade school, having many talents and being astute in whatever He was doing.
One day Apo Rufing accompanied his adopted parents in the rice field, and when it was time to go home, he was no where to be found.
He wondered off and months later was found by a businessman and his wife, Andres Morante and Jacinta Aurora in the city of Dagupan.
Apo Rufing was again found by a couple, but this time he was under a tree crying between the municipalities of Asingan and Binalonan.
Since Andres and Jacinta did not know the parents of Apo Rufing they took him as their own son.
They made Him attend school at Malued Elementary School where Apo Rufing left a big impression with his peers and teachers.
As a fifth grader they saw that he was very intelligent and had an outstanding personality.
Full of energy and spirit, they saw that he would make a bright leader, with such recognition he was made the leader of the peer in the district.

Andres and Jacinta loved Apo Rufing and cared for him as their own son, but they started seeing something strange.
There would be days in which Apo Rufing would be talking to Himself.
One day He invited this invisible guest to dinner, Andres and Jacinta thought he was sick because they did not see His guest at all.
Apo Rufing told his new parents that His guest “is an old man that says he is my father and called me his son.” They thought He was dillusional and sick, so they entrusted him in their close relative Marcelo Vidal.
It was in the hands of Vidal that Apo Rufing stop going to school and started to work in farming and fishing.
When Apo Rufing went out to fishing, he would always come back with an abundant amount of fishes.
His talent also grew with his age, he was an excellent in fencing and other personal defense techniques.

Then at the age of thirteen Apo Rufing’s mysterious guest came to him again, identified himself as His Ama, His Father.
To members of the CDCC, we know this being as Apo Adunai, God Himself.
God spoke to Apo Rufing that he is the chosen one, that he must teach everyone that will open their hearts to God of the “golden rules,” which were to preach the Word of God, heal the sick, go in search of ‘lost sheep’ and ‘build’ my church.
It was this event that sparked Apo Rufing to start His mission to reach out to people that entrusted their soul to God.
Apo Rufing was this comforter that God promised the people after Jesus did his deed on Earth.
As people started to gather and believe in His testimonies, Apo Rufing established an organization, giving the name of the Crusaders of the Divine Church of Christ Philippines Incorporated.
People believed him and saw the miracles of his healings.
It is said that Apo Rufing is able to remove teeth with his bare fingers and he could use only His eyes and a magnify glass to see the inside of a person’s body and tell what his or her sickness.
Many phenomenal encounters are seen by the members of the church.
Apo Rufing appointed several individuals to help Him spread His words.
With the help of priests and ministers appointed by Apo Lakay, masses were held and the preaching of God began to spread throughout the Philippines.

Apo Lakay then went abroad to pass on his teachings to the world.
First he started in Hawaii and with much success he moved on to California.
Apo Lakay started to gain more and more followers who believed in His teachings.
Aside from the many chapters in the Philippines, the abroad chapters are in Hawaii, California, England, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Canada, Taiwan.
Also found in Italy, CDCC members reside in the city of Rome, Milan, and Naples.
Somehow from a single man came a whole congregation, which are located in many parts of the world.
However, on April 26, 2008 Apo Lakay died.
Because he was given a body from God, it was time for his humanly body to rest, but his spirit is still remains present.
As members we believe that Apo Rufing will return to us, to save us from harm.
Although Apo Rufing is not physically here, His legacy has not stopped, the chapters are still running strong with Narciso S.
Magliba being appointed as Apo Supreme.

Magliba was given the power by Apo Lakay to lead the CDCCPI and continue the teachings of the Golden Rules.
Apo Supreme still continues the Christian-based teachings using the Bible as written teachings from God.
The Crusaders of the Divine Church of Christ would not have been possible without Apo Rufing.
He was able to gather people that were willing to open their hearts and minds to God.
Many of the doctrines of the CDCCPI are derived from biblical interpretation as well as revelations from Apo Rufing.

I know that people may read this and have their own opinions on some of the things I stated, but this is what I believe in.
Each religion is different and may have their own doctrines that they abide by.
However, if Apo Rufing was able to pull together a great mass of people, then this shows that He somehow made an impact on a large body of people.
Individuals would not stay in an organization if they didn’t believe in the teachings.
When looking at the Filipino community, they have a strong foundation of religious views.
Filipinos are persistent in what they believe in.
If they find something that they could relate to, Filipinos will remain loyal to whatever it may be.
As seen through my church, the members (majority Filipinos) were inspired by Apo Rufing and remained faithful to His teachings.
They believed in Him and although He is not physically here, the members still have this endless love for Him.
