Crete has an active Choir and Mission group.
We are governed by a Session made up of six Elders elected by the Congregation and six Deacons.

Crete Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbyterian Church, (USA), the largest Reformed body of mainline Protestants in America.
Our roots are in the Reformation in Scotland in the 16th Century.
Crete is a rural Church in the Presbytery of Kiskiminetas which is made of 79 congregations in the counties of Armstrong, Clarion, Elk, Indiana, and Jefferson county PA..
With our mission offerings, we support the Alice Paul House (domestic violence shelter) in Indiana, the Pathway (homeless) shelter in Black Lick, ICCAP food pantry, back to school bash, a Haiti child's education, disaster relief through the One Great Hour of Sharing, Peacemaking, Pentecost (youth), and Joy (retired Church workers, racial/ethnic education) special offerings of our larger Church.
This spring two of our members went to Webster Springs, WV as part of a flood rebuilding team from our Presbytery.
With our Presbytery we support clean water projects in Rwanda, care of the Elderly at St.
Andrews Village, Indiana, two Church camps.
Three Crete families take an active part in the Miracle League at the YMCA in Indiana, PA.
