Detailed description is Uniquely handcrafted wearable works of ART! My name is Rebecca.
I'm a mother of six beautiful children and have been married to my husband David for 29 years.
My start with wire was part of a volunteer program at my children's school.
The program called Masters of the Arts introduced artists and their mediums to the children's classes.
In order to teach, you must first learn.
I studied Alexander Calder, and I was inspired.
It began with telephone wire, which my mom introduced us to as kids.
Before long I had an entire village with trees, people, park benches, zip lines, swings, dogs, backpacks, and guitars.
Then I decided to create a tree for my husband with only copper wire.
I then began going to bead shops to embellish the trees.
This led to making jewelry, and my girlfriend suggested the name of Creatively Bent.
Then I was asked, pushed, and prodded into using silver instead of copper.
