Crazy Legs Farm is home to a “colorful” purebred Romney sheep flock in the rolling, shale hills of the southern Fort Edward township.
Our sheep enjoy a natural life browsing and grazing scenic pastures on this “re-purposed” farmland while providing us with natural fiber for yarns and blankets, meat, quality livestock and composted garden manure.

I have been breeding Romneys for eleven years and have selected breeding stock based on confirmation, temperment, and fleece quality.
Most of my rams have come from Joanne Smith,Bear Mountain Farm of West Rupert, Vermont.
This year's lambs are sired by a ram from Christine Johnson, Groton, New York.
Both rams are from lines with winning fleeces at Rhinebeck Fleece & Wool show!.

We sell livestock - both ram & ewe lambs and yearlings.
Three yearling wethers are available, too.
Fleece, roving, yarns (natural & dyed are available.
We sell beautiful natural color, paid wool blankets made in conjunction with Warm Woolens & lovely herringbone pattern blankets made by Battenkill Fiber.
