Detailed description is Bethel Cemetery is the final resting place for many of Crawfordsville's prominent citizens dating back to the early 1800's-1968.
Bethel Cemetery is the site of the first Methodist Episcopal Church, South .
in 1850, established by Rev.
James Albert Alexander.
His great granddaughter, Susie Hart Landrum & family are resting here, along with many other prominent citizens, Civil War, WWI, & WWII soldiers.

Knott & family, Gladstone Williams, who was once the sheriff & is the last known person laid to rest here, Smith's, Lawler's, just to name a few; alot of history in this small piece of land.
