Rockwell is the Executive Director for the Crawford County Solid Waste Management District and Crawford County Recycling Center in Crawford County, Ohio.
We have full time & part time employee's at the Solid Waste Management District/Recycling Center to serve the public in a professional manner with their recyclables and trash waste items.
Crawford County owns both the Solid Waste Facility-Landfill and the Recycling Center.
Crawford County Solid Waste Management District and the Crawford County Recycling Center has a commitment to provide recycling options to the commercial/industrial/residential sector as well as education about the importance of recycling and solid waste management.
As land continues to be developed in central Ohio at a raid rate, it's important that Crawford County citizens be responsible about what is sent to the landfill.

The Recycling Center accepts the following: cardboard/box board, mixed office paper, newspaper, magazines/catalogs, plastic #1 (pop bottle type), plastic #2 (milk or laundry bottle type), plastic bags, clear bottle/jar glass (NO window glass), brown bottle/jar glass, green/blue bottle/jar glass, steel/tin cans, aluminum cans, hard back books, household batteries, used motor oil, lead acid batteries, antifreeze, scrap metals, tires (small fee), appliances (small fee for anything with freon), televisions (small fee) and all kinds of electronics.
The District also has a very large fleet of Recycling Trailers for your use 24/7.
In Bucyrus the locations are at the Bucyrus City Hall parking lot and Kroger parking lot.
In Galion the location is at East Park and in Crestline the location is at Geyer's parking lot.
If your business would like to do its part and recycle as well, the District also offers, free of charge, to all businesses in the County free pickups.
Just let us know what you would like to recycle and we can set you up with either a 95 gallon two compartment roll cart, a small 35 gallon one compartment roll cart or a big 95 gallon one compartment roll cart for office paper or plastics.
