Detailed description is Coten End Primary School is the largest primary school in Warwick, Warwickshire with 436 children enrolled.
It is controlled by the local authority, Warwickshire County Council and operates two classes for each of the seven-year groups of children aged 4 – 11 who attend the school.
The schools last Ofsted assessment in December 2011 concluded the school was Outstanding Since Summer 2013, Coten End has begun its expansion to three-form entry.
The school currently has three classes up to the Year 3 age group and wil continue to expand until all year groups are three-form.
At this point the schools maximum enrolment will be 674.HistoryThe school opened in 1884 as a Junior School as Coten End Board School and some of the original buildings are still in use.
