Detailed description is I'm a home based travel agent with Compass Vacations.
I will be specializing in family travel & larger families BUT would happily help with any travel! :) I am a home based travel agent in the Grande Prairie and Beaverlodge area.
I will have very flexible office hours and may be able to chat on evenings and weekends depending upon my families activites.
I am wanting to specialize in families -- I have a large family and I find it difficult to find resorts that will fit my family without breaking the bank..

As for my training - I graduated from Grant MacEwan College with a travel consultant diploma in 1997.
I worked in various travel agencies in Edmonton,Cold Lake and Grande Prairie.

I have taken some time away from the travel industry.
I was a stay at home mom for a few years.
I wanted to spend time with my family while they were little.
They are now allot older and I now have time to concentrate on travel again..

I have been blessed to have traveled to a few different destinations.
Here is a quick list of the places I have visited: California (Disneyland&Sea World), Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico (Mayan Riviera&Cancun), St Lucia.
I have backpacked in Europe visiting Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, and Oslo.
I have also visited a small portion of Australia and New Zealand.
I have also cruised a few times with Princess and Carnival cruises.
On the cruises, I visited Alaska and some Caribbean ports.
