Detailed description is A south Sudanese refugee youth initiative committed to building peaceful self-reliant communities in the refugee camps of Uganda.
Community Empowerment for Creative Innovations is a community based organization founded in 2017 with the visionary youths who were granted asylum or refugee in Uganda due to the conflict in their native country.
The organization was initiated due to the dire humanitarian situation in the refugee camps in Uganda and the need for resilience activities that increases livelihood.
Community Empowerment for Creative Innovation(CECI) envision for a peaceful, self-reliant community by promoting peace, self-reliance and dignity, through recreational activities, education and other innovations, going beyond relief and development .
CECI is registered with the Community Development Service koboko district Uganda and approved by the office of Prime Minister of Uganda.
CECI programs are community based with focus on peace building, Education and childhood development, Livelihood and Environmental conservation.
The organization uses participatory approach and it always protects the dignity of the community in its program implementation.
