Detailed description is Our Mission:The Columbus Arts Council is dedicated to enriching the community through the promotion and sponsorship of the Fine Arts to this end we present visual arts exhibits, host musical & theatre performances & offer art workshops for all ages.
The Columbus Arts Council has been actively promoting the fine arts in and around Columbus since 1981.
The Arts Council operates the Columbus Art Gallery year round..

The Gallery has presented over 200 formal exhibits and offers a gift shop that features even more artists.
The Arts Council has also sponsored over 180 performing arts events for schools and the general public that have ranged from ballet to theatre and from storytellers to concerts.
