O Centro Ortopédico Guarulhos (COG) foi fundado em 1983, pela fisioterapeuta Alice Mitiko Nishi, juntamente ao Dr.
Francisco Seiidi Nishi.
Sua primeira sede foi na Rua João Gonçalves, contando inicialmente com apenas dois consultórios, recepção e sala de Raio X.
Devido ao aumento de demanda e preocupada com a melhora do atendimento, o Centro mudou para a Av.
Esperança em 1987, na atual localização, mas com metade do espaço atual.
Em 1993, dez anos após a inauguração, o Centro foi novamente ampliado, com a aquisição dos terrenos ao lado da antiga clínica na Av.
