Detailed description is On the 100th day of the 100th year of CCHS in 2017-2018, groundbreaking will take place on an auditorium renovation project, plus displays & events! Cocke County High School will celebrate the 100th graduating class during the 2017-2018 school year.
CCHS has a long history, with county leaders deciding in 2017 there was a need for a comprehensive high school.
Later, our county was one of the first to combine vocational training and academic classes.
Since the current auditorium doors opened during the 1963-1964 school year, no significant improvements have been made in the auditorium.
With your generosity, that will soon change as the auditorium is renovated to the best of our ability based upon funds contributed.
In addition, other displays and events are planned including a permanent timeline display of the first 100 years.
