The CSCA started with its signature project, the Coastal Sounds Community Choir, in 2007.
Originally a project of The Music Corner in Manuels, in 2011, Coastal Sounds became its own organization, governed by an elected Board of Directors.
The Coastal Sounds Community Choir is a 3-part mixed choir which is open to all people who have an interest in singing, regardless of training or musical background.

the Aurora Women's Choir, an auditioned chamber choir for women which performs mostly 3- and 4-part a cappella repertoire;.

the Christmas Cantata Project, which brings together a mass choir and orchestra to sing a Christmas related work every December;.

the Coastal Sounds Summer Music Program, which is a choir camp for adults aged 18 and up that takes places in August (camps for other ages are being developed for the future).
