Crée en septembre 2013 avec l'impulsion de la sous-préfecture de l'arrondissement de St-Flour, le service public de l’emploi local, le CIDFF15 et le financement de la DIRECCTE Auvergne, le club des créatrices du bassin de Saint-Flour est le premier club des créatrices d'Auvergne (Cette information a fait l’objet d’un petit reportage télévisé diffusé au journal de 20h sur TF1 le 22/11/2013)..

Le lancement officiel a eu lieu le 14 octobre 2013 en présence de Mme Delphine BALSA, Sous-Préfète de l’arrondissement de Saint-Flour, des élus, des partenaires du service public de l’emploi, des associations spécialisées et les créatrices d’entreprise.
Mme Martine VIGUIER, consultante en entrepreneuriat féminin et réseaux professionnels, fondatrice du Club des Créatrices de Montpellier, a animé à cette occasion une conférence-débat.

Cette initiative lancée sur le bassin de Saint-Flour a été ensuite étendue à Aurillac (janvier 2014) et Mauriac (avril 2015)..
