Civil engineering is the oldest discipline of all engineering professions and, according to CNN Money, is projected to have a 24% growth in the next 10 years.
The job role of a civil engineer is to apply principles of mathematics and science to design, oversee, inspect, construct, and maintain projects that deal with our society’s infrastructure.
These projects can include: highways, mass transit systems, dams, bridges, airports, water treatment facilities, and sewage treatment plants..

Our program consists of 440 lecture hours which will equip you with the theory and practice to deliver solutions to our growing infrastructure needs.
Our curriculum also consists of 700 laboratory hours where cutting edge technology in electronic distance measuring, global positioning, and materials testing will be used to develop skills that will launch students into the workforce with engineering consultants, surveyors, municipal governments, construction companies, and geotechnical companies.
Our program consists of two specializations for an associate degree, general and surveying.
Our surveying specialization will prepare you for a career in land surveying and put you on tract for professional licensure..
