This annual MTB and trail running epic follows a beautiful and brutal 26+ mile circuit around Burke and Umpire mountains on Kingdom Trails singletrack.
The two lap "CircumBerzerk" 52+ miler for bikes is also offered.

Course Capacity (Field Limit) is 500 bikers and 500 runners.

Those not making the cut-off will be listed as finishing the one lap event..

Course Details: Burke is Back! This year's cicuit will start and finish at Sherburne Lodge at Burke Mountain.
One 26 mile loop is used for all categories, on Kingdom Trails singletrack, with some state logging trail and bits of town road.
3000+ feet of climbing.
Last year's, 26 mile lap took cyclists between 2 hours 45 minutes and 6 hours, and runners 3.5 to 7 hours.
Bikers considering the 52 mile Marathon event should be exceedingly fit and prepared for 6000+ feet of climbing, due to a first lap time cut-off of 3 hours 20 minutes.
Remember, the CircumBurke is one of the toughest loops in New England, and riding two laps should not be taken lightly..

Results and Timing: The CircumBurke provides rudimentary courtesy timing provided by volunteers, as well as raffle prizes for finishers.
Unofficial results are not posted until the following day, due uncertain electricity supply and internet connectivity at venue.

Enduro Classification: Two self-service enduro classifications will be generated over “Clodhopper” (3/4 Mile) and” McGill's Thrill” (1.5 Miles) for Strava.com users using their smart phones or other GPS devices with Strava activated during the event.
Be classified in Enduro over two singletrack sections.
A "leaderboard" will be generated on Strava during event..
