Detailed description is Fondé par Les Concerts Lachine, le Chœur Ambiance a vu le jour en 1981, sous le nom initial de Chœur mixte de Lachine.
Encore aujourd'hui, la réputation de ce chœur lachinois est fort bien établie.
Le Chœur Ambiance a participé à plusieurs grands événements au Québec, notamment la célébration au Centre Molson en 2001 soulignant la béatification de sœur Marie-Anne Blondin de Lachine.
Il a remporté à deux reprises des prix dans le cadre du Festival choral de Montréal dans la catégorie Chorales adulte, et s’est aussi distingué lors de tournées en Europe (France, Luxembourg, Belgique) en 2001 et 2003.
En 2006, c’est en Italie que le chœur fêtait son 25e anniversaire..

Réunissant une cinquantaine de choristes amateurs, le Chœur Ambiance est dirigé par M.
Yves Garand, qui est chef du chœur depuis 1999.
Le Chœur propose un répertoire fort diversifié, composé de chants populaires, d’extraits de comédies musicales, de negro-spirituals, de pièces classiques et d’œuvres sacrées; un mariage qui donne lieu d’année en année à des concerts toujours des plus appréciés.
