Detailed description is The RISE Program is a research training program designed to provide expanded opportunities for Chicago State University undergraduates majoring in STEM.
The Chicago State University RISE Program is a student-development program sponsored by a generous grant from the Training, Workforce Development & Diversity (TWD) Division of the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

(i) to encourage undergraduates majoring in STEM to pursue careers in biomedical research by preparing them for graduate-level work in the physical and life sciences; and.
