O Centro de Educação Angher funciona desde 1970 quando foi criado com a denominação de Jardim de Infância MICKEY.

Hely Dani, Ministrou, inicialmente, a educação infantil para crianças do 2º período.
Em 1971 funcionou com duas turmas, uma de 2º e outra de 3º período.
A partir de 1973 passou a atender alunos de 1º, 2º e 3º períodos.

Em 1986, foi implantado o ensino fundamental (1ª a 8ª Séries) atendendo a solicitações da comunidade escolar, passando a denominar-se Centro de Educação "Angher".
A Carta Consulta remetida ao Conselho Estadual de Educação obteve resposta favorável à implantação do Ensino de 1º grau, conforme Parecer CEE, nº 19/87, publicado no Minas Gerais de 06.02.87, quando foi concedido a escola o prazo de 180 dias para formular o pedido de autorização de funcionamento.

O Conselho Estadual de Educação, pelo Parecer nº 635/87 publicado no Minas Gerais de 28 de abril de 1987, manifestou-se favorável a autorização de funcionamento do Ensino Fundamental (1ª a 8ª Série) no Centro de Educação Angher.
A Portaria 1.708 MG de 26/05/87 concedeu autorização de funcionamento.
A partir de 1997, na busca de somar esforços visando um ensino de qualidade que preparasse o aluno para o mundo atual, foi estabelecida a parceria com o Pueri Domus Escolas Associadas /SP.
