L'any 1979, un grup de joves de Sant Vicenç dels Horts organitzaven unes colònies a l'estiu.

Davant l'èxit d'aquestes, va sortir la proposta de crear un espai per a realitzar activitats també durant el curs.
Fruit d'aquesta idea, va néixer el Centre d'Esplai Flor de Neu..

Més de 35 anys després, la llavor que va plantar aquell grup de joves l'ha anat regant l'esforç de diverses generacions de monitors, pares i infants.
