Detailed description is Take a relaxing and scenic adventure deep into the Sierra Nevada Mountains while riding on an ATV.
(All Terrain Vehicle) CCT offers the opportunity for the Central California visitor or local resident the opportunity to see and experience the beautiful Central Sierra Nevada’s, the grasslands of the San Joaquin Valley, or the vistas of the inland Coast Range in a private and safe setting.
Currently, the trips are designed for individuals or couples desiring to enjoy a stress free day and take in the beauty of the location.
CCT will provide Allterrain vehicles (ATV’s) to get from the base location to the desired location.
The trips are designed to meet the desire of the clients with a guide who is knowledgeable of the area to be visited.
Portions of the trips will include hiking to “top off” the experience.
The trips will be day trips that will have no time dictated itinerary other than the start and end time.
Clients will be free to “stop the train” and enjoy scenic vistas, mountain tops, old logging camps or a beautiful wild flower, as they desire.
All levels of ATV experience are welcome as a beginner’s orientation will be given before every trip.
All trips will be hosted and use established trails (no cross country traveling allowed!), and each trip can be revised at the beginning or anytime during the trip if the host feels the experience level of the participants warrant it.
Group and trip safety is the ultimate goal! At this time, 3 different day trips are available with more to come.
All trips include a minimum of 25 miles of ATV riding and include optional hikes.
A fishing component can be arranged but will require more time.
Specialized trips not described can also be arranged to meet the desires of the participants – so don’t be afraid to ask!.

Current Excursions (summer 2013):.
Trip 1 – Star Lakes – This trip is for the experienced rider and hiker.
It will include a riding experience that will go from 5,200 ft.
elevation to over 8,500 ft! Portions of the trail are challenging and require experience with the ATV to get through it.
In addition, the optional hike at Star Lakes is strenuous, but well worth the exertion!.

Trip 2” – Iron Lakes – This trip is for the beginner to intermediate rider.
It will also range in elevations from 5,200 to 8,500 ft.
It includes a final portion of the trail that is challenging but conquerable.
The optional hike down to the lakes should also be considered as strenuous to moderately strenuous..

Trip 3 – Fresno Dome – This trip is a ride that is primarily on well established trails but also provides beautiful vistas and wooded mountains to enjoy.
The hike is approximately 3 miles round trip and will include a stop at the summit of Fresno Dome which provides breath taking views to the west and the San Joaquin Valley floor..

Trip 4 (1/2 day) – Explore Old Logging Roads of the SNF – This trip is for riding only with a few “scenic stops.” The trip will explore about 30 miles of old logging roads of the central Sierra National Forest!
