Five years ago, CAYA's was born: “Scholar-Athletes excelling at every endeavor of life.” Our mission is to improve the personal net worth of student-athletes by building their academic, social, and cultural capacities to excel within and beyond sports.

In Summer 2012, we launched “Advancing Young Players Preparatory Program (AYP3)”.
Since then, we have partnered with school and recreation programs to help over 200 student-athletes build their academic, social, and cultural capacity through sports education.
Our Sports Injury: Treatment & Prevention Sports Education Program helps student-athletes build their academic and athletic knowledge through sports-relevant skills development.

During the academic school year, The Center for the Advancement of Young Student-Athletes partners with school and recreation organizations, in the greater Baltimore area, to provide six- and twelve-week sports education programs.
