A native of the United Kingdom, Dr.
Dnes holds a BA in economics from the University of Leicester, England; a Master of Letters in economics and natural resources from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland; a PhD in economics from the University of Edinburgh; and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London.
He has served as Professor and Head of Economics at the University of Hull Business School, UK, Professor and Associate Dean at the University of Hertfordshire, UK, and Professor and Head of Economics Research at Nottingham Business School, UK.
He also held appointments at Virginia Tech in the US.
Dr.
Dnes is a member of the editorial board of International Review of Law & Economics and was elected academic director of the Western Economics Association from 2008 to 2010.
He has consulted for the UK Intellectual Property Office, the UK Lord Chancellor’s Department, the Canadian Social Science and Humanities Research Council, the World Bank, and private firms..

Joseph Connors is an assistant professor of economics in the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise at Florida Southern College where he is also an affiliate faculty member of the Center for Free Enterprise.
He teaches principles of microeconomics, microeconomic theory, and philosophy of business.
His research interests are how economic and political institutions impact the poor in the developing world and the political economy of rent seeking.
Dr.
Connors is a research fellow for The Institute for Faith, Work, and Economics.
He is also a co-creator of “Oikonomia: Economics for Life and Purpose,” a high school economics course for the home school market.
Before his career in economics, Dr.
Connors was an electrical engineer and worked for various firms in Silicon Valley.
