Detailed description is A singing competition, based on the Emmy-Award winning TV Show, "American Idol," that successfully ran for 5 seasons.
Carrollton Idol was a solo singing competition that occured every year in the summer.
It was LIVE in front of a panel of celebrity judges and Idol fans that made up an audience of voters.
The first step was auditions.
If the artist was chosen as one of the top finalists, then they would move on to compete at Bootcamp.
At Bootcamp the contestants were put through vocal exercises, solo performances and even group numbers.
The performance coaches (chosen differently every year) would work with them to build confidence, tone quality and stage presence for the LIVE finale show.
