I am an avid health and fitness enthusiast who is eager to teach all that I have learned, and continue learning as I live the FitLife.
It is truely rewarding helping others take the first step on their journey to reach better health or for new goals as they develop a love for themselves and their bodies, as I have over the past 14 years..

My "success in weightloss" came when my first 2 were children were young...
after a few years of battling depression, weight issues and low self esteem.
I reached a breaking point at age 25 and was no longer "ok with it".
I took matters into my own hands, got myself a gym membership and started adapting to healthier, balanced eating.
I worked a LOT of stuff out in that gym and it very quickly became a big part of my life.
After 6 months I shed the extra 40lbs of baggage responsibly and I transformed into a happy, confident woman...throwing away my "mom"jeans forever! I even started teaching classes and bootcamps before eventually giving up group fitness for the weightroom...

I understand that not everyone's dream is to be up on stage...
and even for myself it is an urge that developed after learning about competitive body building in 2009.
I attended my first ameture show and it forever changed the way I think and live (for the better)...
competing runs deep in my blood now..

The first time I stepped on stage in figure body building I won 1st Place in 2011 and continued my journey that took me to 6 shows in 3 seasons including on the national stage in my second year.
In 2013 I came back to BC Provincials with a new found confidence and well rounded package that earned me a 2nd placing in open as well as 1st and overall in masters.

July 5th 2014 I will return to the national stage with the best in Canada that are competing for the coveted IFBB Procard, and am counting down to reunite on stage with some amazing women!.

With many goals in life I am also a professional visual artist and mother of 3 strong, beautiful children.
My ability to balance my family's busy life, while still accompishing success personally, professionally, competitively...
as well as for my clients truely is something I am proud of..
