Laureana San Pedro Rosales, Founding Chairman and President Emeritus of the Capitol System of Institutions as a Maternity Hospital to support the practicum training needs of the Midwifery students of the then Cagayan Capitol College.

It was named Cagayan Capitol General Hospital (CCGH).
