I'm a Certified Professional Groomer (CPG), a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming, one of the best grooming schools in the country.
Why choose a CPG? Because CPG's have gone to an accredited grooming school for 450 hours (similar to how your hairdresser went to school to learn to cut hair), and has passed extensive written and hands-on grooming tests in order to graduate.
A good grooming school teaches more than just how to cut hair.
It teaches animal skin/hair function and care, anatomy, nutrition pertaining to skin and coat, health and safety hazards, correct product use, shop sanitation, and more.
