Cairo Design Biennale is the first event of its kind in Egypt created to honor outstanding Egyptian designers and recognize emerging talent.
The concept of Cairo Design Biennale was founded in early 2014 by the Egyptian architect Dalia Sadany, Chairman of Dalia Sadany Dezines and presiding President of the International Association of Designers (IAD) headquartered in Como, Italy.
