When the only qualified workers are tied up on someone else’s job, unwelcome delays in the building timeline occur.

All classes are offered two nights per week, three hours per night on the Building Institute of Central Kentucky's Trade Street campus..

The Building Institute of Central Kentucky will offer 5 trades: .
.
HVAC - 2 year program**.
Plumbing - 2 year program**.
Electrical - 4 year program** (KY State mandated 4 year program).
Carpentry - 2 year program.
Facility Maintenance - 2 year program.
**In addition to a program completion certificate upon graduation, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical students will be eligible to take the state licensure examination.
All students will be prepared to pass the examination upon graduation, and if they meet the other state requirements, and pass the state exam, students will receive their journeyman’s license for their trade of choice..
