Detailed description is Brother 2 Brother PUC is a organization that's sole purpose is to increase the graduation and retention rate of African-Americans and men of color.
The Student African American Brotherhood (SAAB) is an organization that began in 1990, established by Dr.
Tyrone Bledsoe on October 17, 1990 on the Campus of Georgia Southwest State University.
This organization was established to address the academic and social challenges of African American and Latino male students and spans across 27 states.
However, SAAB provides a diverse and culturally- sensitive environment for all ethnic group minorities through the adoption of the name Brother To Brother.
This allows a more diverse group to get the SAAB experience.
Brother to Brother’s mission is to help students strive for academic excellence while simultaneously enabling personal growth.
Through learning, advocacy, mentoring and other actions, Brother to Brother will remove the educational barrier to ensure that more African American, Latino, and people of color graduate from college.
By doing this we are saving lives and salvaging dreams.
The six committees of our chapter, Brother 2 Brother, are each orchestrated by a committee chair and the co-chairs leaders.The six committees being:Financial Affairs, Spiritual/ Social, Membership/ Public Relations, Academics, Service Learning and Personal Development, all work together with synergy and effectiveness to make our dream for each brother that steps foot on the PNW campus a reality.
