Detailed description is SNA stands for the Student Nurses Association, which is Brookdale's chapter of the National Student Nurses Association.
SNA’s mission is to assist in the professional development of the nursing student.
We foster this development by holding regular meetings, going on educational field trips, providing guest speakers related to the nursing field, helping our local community and world through charitable events, and creating outlets for all nursing students to meet, study and learn from one another.
The SNA also plans and coordinates the beautiful Pinning Ceremony held each semester to celebrate those students who have successfully graduated from Brookdale's challenging but rewarding nursing program.
The Student Nurses’ Association serves the profession of nursing by recruiting students to participate in the National Student Nurses’ Association convention which is held at different locations across the country each year.
The convention allows those delegates to experience resources available to them while networking with other students, educators, and recruiters promoting their success at Brookdale and furthering their professional careers in the future.
The SNA is a wonderful organization to join if you are a student who is looking to meet and network with fellow nursing students, become more involved in campus life, and are looking to take advantage of all of the opportunities that Brookdale's nursing program has to offer.
