Detailed description is Our club flies a variety of aircraft.
Small foam aeroplanes, aerobatic helicopters and large three metre wingspan petrol engine aerobatic aircraft.
The Broken Hill Model Flying Club was established in 1969.
Currently we have a membership of around fifteen.
A variety of aircraft are flown from small electric planes to large 150cc petrol aircraft, war birds, electric and fuel helicopters.
Our flying field named "Ulinga"is located on the Silver City Highway approximately four kilometers past the racecourse road turnoff.
Aircraft can usually be seen flying on weekends throughout the day, weather permitting.
Spectators are most welcome!.
Can I fly a Radio Control model ?.

Yes.
There is no age or experience barrier.
Anyone can successfully pilot a model aircraft.
You must take time to learn the basics of operating a model aircraft.
Learning to fly R/C models on your own can be frustrating and expensive.
