My mother was a hairdresser and I followed in her footsteps.
I am a hard-working cosmetologist with a passion for helping others, creating a fun yet professional work environment, and expanding my education to benefit my skills in the business and technical field.
I am an alumni of SkillsUSA Massachusetts and competed for 3 years in Nail Care.
I won silver and gold medals at the district level competition, a gold medal at the state conference, and placed 16th out of 32 at the national conference in 2009.
I volunteer with SkillsUSA Massachusetts and help them run these state level conferences and competitions twice every year and have recently helped by doing stage hair and makeup as well as photo makeup.
I am a recent graduate (2014) of Bristol Community College from the Business Administration; Entrepreneurship program.
My dream is to (many years from now) open my own salon.
