Detailed description is The Messiah College Archives, with the Brethren in Christ Archives, exist to maintain and share the history of both of these institutions.
The Messiah College Archives is combined with the Brethren in Christ Archives (also known as the Brethren in Christ Historical Library and Archives).
The Messiah College section contains documents from minutes from various committees, the papers of the presidents of the college, publications of (and for) the school, both faculty and student writings, and much more.
Along with documents there are photographic collections of sports, events, faculty, alumni, etc.
There is a small museum portion displaying prominent pictures and artifacts of the college (as well as the Brethren in Christ Archives).

The Historical Library and Archives is open to the public from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
and 1 p.m.- 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
CLOSED - Friday.
Appointments are not required, but are strongly recommended.
Every effort is made to maintain normal operating hours, but the office will close when staff members are not available.
Visitors traveling from a distance should contact the Historical Library and Archives before coming to ensure access..
