As a participant of the Brandeis Health Study, we will ask you to come into our laboratory at Brandeis University in Waltham on 3 days (afternoons or evenings) for 2.5 to 3 hours each day.

We will expose you to some written and some verbal tests aimed at assessing how well you can remember things, for example.

Moreover, we will expose you to a stress test of 15 minutes during two of the 3 stays at our laboratory to activate your physiological systems.
To see how your body responds to stress, our study nurse will take a number of blood samples on two of the three stays that will be analyzed in our lab!.

Our participants will get feedback on their biological stress response and about the impact of stress on their memory.
