In May of 2010, FarWest Entertainment launched a talent search around Asia called "Project Lotus" to bring together 5 girls from 5 different countries; something that had never been attempted before in the music industry.
After viewing over 3,500 auditions in China, India, Japan, South Korea & The Philippines, 35 girls were brought to a training academy in Hong Kong that would mould them into world class performers ready to take on the global stage.
"Project Lotus" is a look into the lives of these girls as they strive to pursue their dreams.
The entire journey was documented and made into an eight part mini-series that has aired on Fox's "Star World" and "Channel [V]" networks in Asia and "AXS" in the United States, a network owned by Mark Cuban, Ryan Seacrest and CAA..
