My name is Amber Walsh.
Many of you may know me from the many hats I've worn over the years, as a coach, clown, mother of two amazing girls, a children’s librarian- from attending some of the quality programming I've developed for youth of all ages, as a daycare director, an innkeeper, a wedding, event and party planner.
Perhaps you've spotted me in the greenhouse, or out patrolling for pests and maintaining plants.
It’s possible I've helped you to select the perfect plant, or shipped one to you.
By chance you may have seen me at the farmers market, in the gardens, or out on the farm.
Who knows, maybe I've waited on you, cooked for you, cleaned, or have been you manager? Maybe you’ve seen and remember a float I’ve made, a picture I’ve taken, a piece of art I’ve created, or words I’ve written.
It’s hard to say, I’ve worn so many hats.
Regardless of what hat you’ve seen me wear, know that what you witnessed was me creating a masterpiece for over 20 years, and like a butterfly it is time to reveal myself..
By drawing upon the things I’ve learned over the years, and by incorporating children’s education, art, farming and agriculture, with my skills in hospitality, entertainment and event planning, I am setting forth to create bliss, turning all of my hats into a masterpiece with your support..

!At almost 14 acres, Bliss Farms, located in rural Chatham County, sits on what used to be a working organic farm belonging to my brother-in-law.
He and his fiance had orchards full of fruit, chickens, goats, pigs, and produce that they took to market.
She fell sick with cancer and passed away in 2009, and the farm fell silent..
For years it sat in slumber, until now, a broken heart has healed, and time has moved on.
My husband and I, along with our two daughters, have taken over the family farm and are ready to create bliss.
With the funding raised in this campaign we can purchase animals and the necessary equipment to help us reclaim the family farm, and make it a viable farm once more..
Bliss Farms will be a sustainable, beyond organic farm, which grows heirloom vegetables, fruits, and berries, in addition to raising free range, heritage breed livestock such as, pigs, chickens, sheep, rabbits, and earthworms, and using synergy with animals and crops to produce a viable environment..
We will also host events such as art shows, farm tours, community events, family reunions, parties, and weddings, but will most importantly be a teaching farm..
Bliss Farms will provide programs to children and educators, by inviting schools to tour the farm and learn how our food makes its way from farm to fork, and offering summer camps built around the arts, agriculture and environment.
Because we believe that teaching our future the importance of where our food supply comes from, how to care for and sustain our natural resources, and the ability to express ones creativity, is crucial to moving forward towards a better and brighter future for all of us..
