Um desafio aos estudantes de Engenharia que tem como principal objetivo propiciar a difusão e o intercâmbio de técnicas e conhecimentos de Engenharia Aeronáutica entre estudantes e futuros profissionais da engenharia da mobilidade, através de aplicações práticas e da competição entre equipes.
Ao participar do projeto o aluno se envolve com um caso real de desenvolvimento de projeto aeronáutico, desde sua a concepção, projeto detalhado, construção e testes..
A COMPETIÇÃO SAE BRASIL AERODESIGN.
Os alunos que participam da Competição SAE BRASIL Aerodesign devem formar equipes que representarão a Instituição de Ensino Superior ao qual estão ligados.
Estas equipes são desafiadas anualmente com novos regulamentos baseados em desafios reais enfrentados pela indústria aeronáutica como por exemplo, otimização multidisciplinar para atendimento de requisitos conflitantes, redução de peso através de otimização estrutural, instrumentação e ensaios em vôo dos protótipos, entre outros.
